to juxtapose man and nature. light and dark, solid and void, hard and soft. the nature center is proportional to existing dam walls. this is meant to reflect that scale and proportion are not artificial, but are found in natural. this juxtaposition is found in the woods as well as the pushing and pulling of lines and mass. |
